Dr. Binny Chokshi is a recent graduate of the Children's National Health System Pediatric Residency program, specifically as part of the Community Health Track.  She is currently an attending physician in the Division of Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine at Children's National.  During her junior year of college, she participated in a Health and Nutrition Semester abroad in Santiago, Dominican Republic.  This opened her eyes to the disparities in health care in the developing world and began her journey in global health.  Since then she has traveled to be part of medical projects in both Mali and Uganda.  Most recently, during her residency training, she worked with the Baylor Pediatric AIDS Corps in Lilongwe, Malawi.  She is interested in sustainable global health interventions and global health education.
