Lynda Dattilio, RN BSN CCRN
Ms. Dattilio is currently a nurse Coordinator with the Dept. of Hematology with a focus on Hemophilia. Prior to her current position she was a charge nurse and shift coordinator in the Pediatric and Cardiac ICU’s at Children’s National. She has been involved in Pediatric Global Health since 2003 when she began volunteered her time with Heart Care International in the Dominican Republic and El Salvador on pediatric open-heart surgical medical missions. In 2007 she began working with Heart Healers International in Kampala, Uganda at the Uganda Heart Institute (UHI) where they collaborated with the team to surgically repair hundreds of children since the first surgical case in 2007. Ms. Dattilio is a member of the International Council of Nurses and the Global Health Council.
