About: Love at the Border (LATB) is a collaborative project created by the University of Texas Medical Branch School of Medicine’s chapter of Gold Humanism Honor Society in response to the current humanitarian crisis at the US-Mexico border. LATB’s vision is to build relationships with organizations, such as Refugee Health Alliance, for the purpose of sustainable outreach and advocacy addressing the ongoing challenges faced by displaced people at the Mexico/US border.
